Spellbinders- DOMST, DOML Sep 25
Hello, crafters!
I’m so excited to share the fall-themed cards I made using the September Club Kits from Spellbinders. These kits are perfect for creating stunning projects that capture the cozy feeling of autumn.
Card 1: The Acorn Acres Card
For the background of this card, I used the “Autumn Breeze” embossing folder on Alabaster cardstock. After embossing, I used a blending brush to add a touch of color around the edges, which highlights the beautiful embossed texture and gives it a warm, autumnal feel.
What you need,
Cardstock: Alabaster Truffle, Fawn, Saffron, Carrot, Terra Cotta, Gold Cardstock
To create the adorable acorn house, I used the “Acorn Acres” large die set. The main part of the acorn is cut from Truffle cardstock, and the cap is from Fawn cardstock. I added a bit of sparkle by die-cutting the acorn cap top from gold cardstock.
To create a vibrant backdrop for the acorn house, I die-cut and ink-blended leaves in various fall colors. I then layered them behind the acorn to create a cozy, woodland scene.
The sentiment is also from the “Acorn Acres” large die set. I die-cut it, added foam adhesive for dimension, and placed it on the bottom of the card. Finally, I used some antique gold embellishments to complete the look.
Card 2: The Stitched Pumpkin Card
For this card’s background, I used the same “Autumn Breeze” embossing folder on black cardstock. This gives the card a sophisticated, textured look that makes the bright pumpkins stand out.
What You Need,
- Embossing Folder: EOM Sep 25 Autumn Breeze Embossing Folder
- Stitch Die Set: DOMST Sep 25 Stitched Pumpkin Tops Die Set

The stars of this card are the three pumpkins from the Stitched Pumpkin Tops die set. I die-cut them from Saffron, Carrot, and Terra Cotta cardstock. To add more depth, I used a blending brush to add a bit of color to the center of each pumpkin, giving them a lovely, dimensional look. Then, I stitched the pumpkins with beautiful bronze and gold metallic threads.
The pumpkins are framed by a shiny gold border that I created using the Perfect Touch Rectangle Die. I used foam tape to adhere the frame, which adds a nice bit of height and dimension.
I hope these cards inspire you to get crafty this fall! The Spellbinders September Club Kits were a joy to work with, and they make it so easy to create beautiful, dimensional cards.
Happy crafting, everyone!
