Spellbinders- Wonderland Collection

‘Tis the Season for crafting, and I’m excited to share some festive Christmas cards made with the Spellbinders Wonderland Collection! This enchanting collection features delightful dies, plates, and stamps perfect for spreading holiday cheer. Enjoy these cheerful creations!

1. Twinkle Bright Tree Card

My first card features a timeless Christmas tree design.

I started by using the Twinkle Bright Tree Registration Betterpress (part of the Wonderland Collection). I inked it up with black Better Press ink and pressed it onto Better Press Cotton Cardstock.

After pressing, I colored the tree with markers, adding vibrant greens and festive ornaments. Then, I used the Perfect Touch Rectangle Die to die-cut it for a clean finish.

I hot foiled the Snowfall Shimmer Betterpress Plate from the Wonderland Collection onto white cardstock using “Waterfall” foil from the Satin Pastels Variety Pack. I then reused the leftover negative foil to create a subtle shimmering backdrop with the Solid Rectangle Essential Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. To finish the card, I hot foiled the sentiment “SENDING HOLIDAY CHEER” in white onto Poppy cardstock with the Country Christmas Banner & Sentiments Press Plate, and die-cut it.

2. The Three Magi Card

My second card showcases the beautiful Three Magi Stamp & Die set, another highlight from the Wonderland Collection.

For the captivating night sky background, I used Anchor cardstock and applied matte gold hot foil with the Falling Stars Betterpress Plate. To enhance the visibility and magic of the stars, I added some subtle shading with black ink towards the top of the panel.

To create the snowy hills at the bottom, I die-cut Fog cardstock using the Color Block Scenic Scape Die. For extra sparkle, I die-cut additional stars from gold metallic cardstock and adhered them to the background. The three wise men were meticulously die-cut from various elegant shades of cardstock: Waterfall, Tear Topaz, Breeze, and Mint, giving them a lovely layered and dimensional look

Finally, the “Merry & Bright” sentiment was created using the Merry Messages Plate & Die set. I hot foiled it in matte gold onto black cardstock and then die-cut it before attaching it to the card with foam adhesive for a touch of dimension.

3. Santa's Cocoa Mug Card

For my third card, I crafted a delightful snowy background by hot foiling white foil onto Cascade cardstock using the Sprinkled Confetti Press Plate.

This perfectly mimics the effect of falling snow, setting a cozy winter scene!

The focal point of this card is the adorable Santa mug, brought to life with the Cocoa Wonderland Die. I die-cut Santa’s jolly face from Chiffon cardstock, while his hat and some of the tree ornaments were cut from Poppy cardstock and Ruby Assorted Treasured card stock, adding rich red accents.

A deep green cardstock was perfectly chosen for the mug handle and the charming evergreen trees emerging from the mug. To finish, I added bright highlights to Santa’s face and beard with a white gel pen, giving him extra cheer and dimension.

4. The Snow Notes Card

This charming card features a trio of musical snowmen!

I created the background by hot foiling matte silver foil onto Waterfall cardstock using the Falling Stars Betterpress Plate. This provides a lovely, shimmery backdrop for the scene.

The stars of this card are, of course, the adorable snowmen, die-cut using The Snow Notes Die (from the Wonderland Collection). I gave each snowman a unique and colorful scarf: Lavender, Blush, and Beeswax. Their cute carrot noses were, naturally, die-cut from Carrot colored cardstock

The music book that the middle snowman is holding and the “Fa La La La La La” sentiment banner were both die-cut from Pomegranate colored cardstock, adding a festive pop of red to complete this cheerful winter scene.

5. Joyful Noel Snow Globe Card

For this magical snow globe card, I started by color blending Waterfall cardstock with dark green ink to create a mysterious night sky effect. Additionally, I added white splatter and Sparkle Splatter for a beautiful, starry, snowy effect.

Next, I hot foiled white foil onto more Waterfall cardstock using the Sprinkled Confetti BetterPress Plate and then die-cut the Pins & Needles Jar from it. I carefully trimmed off the pincushion part at the bottom of the jar with scissors, aligning it to create a smooth, clean jar edge. The elegant jar lid was die-cut from silver metallic cardstock.

To build the snowy landscape inside the jar, I die-cut white cardstock using the Color Block Scenic Scape Die and then further die-cut it with the Pins & Needles Jar die to create a snowy hill. This white hill was then adhered to the “snowy sky” inside the jar. The jar lid was then attached with foam adhesive for added dimension. The adorable snowman inside the globe was created using the Snow Notes Die.

I die-cut his scarf from Poppy cardstock and added white gel pen stripes for detail. His music book was die-cut from Teal Topaz cardstock. Finally, the “Joyful Noel” sentiment was hot foiled in white onto Poppy cardstock using the Merry Message BetterPress Plate and Die (from the Wonderland Collection) and then die-cut.

6. Santa's Season's Greetings Mug Card

For my final card, I created a vibrant and textured background by first die-cutting Aquamarine metallic cardstock with the Postage Edge Rectangle Die, then embossing it with the July 3D Embossing Folder.

The charming Santa’s beard was die-cut from white glitter cardstock, adding a lovely festive sparkle.

The mug handle and Santa’s hat were die-cut from Ruby Blush cardstock, providing a rich red accent. Inside the mug, I included delightful die-cuts of the chocolate and candy cane from the Merry Mug Creations Die Set. The adorable gingerbread man cookie and festive leafy sprig were die-cut from the Christmas Cocktail Die Set. This card beautifully showcases how pieces from the new Wonderland Collection can be wonderfully integrated with previously released Spellbinders products!

Finally, the “Season’s Greetings” sentiment was hot foiled in white onto Poppy cardstock using the Merry Message BetterPress Plate and Die (from the Wonderland Collection) and then die-cut.

I hope these cards inspire you to create your festive masterpieces with the Spellbinders Wonderland Collection! Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
