Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas Day 1

Hello crafty friends,

I have already shared some photos from the 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit on Instagram. I will be sharing all of them over the next 12 days.

Today, I am sharing two cards made with Day 1’s dies from the 12 Days of Stitchmas Kit.

1. Joy to the World Card

Day 1 is a Christmas tree die. After die-cutting it on green cardstock, I stitched it with light green thread and added some embellishments to the tree.

“I used the Holiday Foliage Joy Press Plate from the BetterPress Christmas Collection. In the background, instead of better pressing it, I did the hot foiling with the Press Plate.”

I finished with the comfort & Joy Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & Die Set 

Double Tree Card

“I used my old hot foil plates (Christmas foliage background plate) on the background. This time, I tried BetterPress with the hot foil plates on white cardstock.”
