Hello, crafty friends! I’m back with another fun Halloween project using the Spellbinders August 2026 Stitching Die Club. This month’s featured die set is called “Frank-N-Stitch”, and it is so much fun to stitch!
Inking & Stitching the Mummy Wraps: I started by die-cutting the bandage strips. Before stitching, I used a blending brush with gray ink to gently color around the edges, giving them extra dimension and depth. Then, I stitched all the bandage details using shiny silver metallic thread for that perfectly uncanny, hand-crafted feel.
Assembling the Focal Scene: I layered gray cardstock and the stitched bandage pieces onto a bold black cardstock background. For the eyes, I die-cut elements using Rainforest and Raven cardstock to create those expressive, vibrant green pupils that pop right out.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this stitched Halloween card inspires you to bring out your threads and dies. Happy crafting! ππ§΅π»
