Edgy & Energetic Father’s Day Card with March 3D Embossing Club
Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a card that features a fantastic industrial and textured look using the March 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month: “Urban Grid.” By combining hot foiling, 3D embossing, and some fun die-cuts, I’ve created a “sizzling” project that’s perfect for the grill masters and heroes in our lives!
The Background:
I started with a black cardstock base. First, I applied a striking Silver Hot Foiling using the Edge Effect Press Plate (an exclusive bonus for All-Clubs Crate subscribers). After foiling, I ran it through with the “Urban Grid” 3D Embossing Folder to create that incredible geometric texture. To really make the design pop, I used a silver gel pen to carefully highlight the raised embossed lines.
The star of the card is the sneaker and the grilling accessories from the “Classic Kicks” Large Die of the Month set. I die-cut the elements and added custom coloring to bring them to life. The Sentiment:
For the message, I used the “Good Times” Clear Stamp Set (this month’s Clear Stamp & Die Club). I stamped “IT’S YOUR DAY TO SIZZLE” onto black cardstock using Versamark ink, applied white embossing powder, and heat-set it for a crisp, high-contrast finish before die-cutting it.
This card is all about layers of texture and a bold, masculine color palette. I hope this inspires you to mix your hot foiling and embossing techniques for your next project!
