I had so much fun creating flower cake-shaped cards featuring the Bougie Birthday Collection.
Small die club (Feb.25)+ Bougie Birthday Card
I die-cut the cake from white cardstock and colored it with green ink using a blending tool. I also used a die-cut icing strip and colored it with the same green ink.
I used the small die from the February 2025 die-cutting club to create flower designs.
I used Beewax, Dahila, Tutu, Seaside, and Waterfall card stock for the flowers.
I used gold hot foil to add the Ideal Moments Press Plate & Die birthday sentiments onto Raven cardstock. After die-cutting it with the coordinating die, I attached it to the cake using foam stickers. I also die-cut the number of candles from the Classy Numbers die and placed them on the cake.
This card fits the A2 size envelope.
Vivid Expression + Bougie Birthday
I die-cut the cake from moonstone blue cardstock and embossed it with the Plaster 3D embossing folder to add texture.
I just fell in love with the Vivid Expression Collection Flowers die set, so I decided to use the flower die that comes with the cake die. I often see beautiful flower cakes on Pinterest, and while I don’t think I could actually bake a cake and decorate it with flowers, I can definitely create a flower cake card instead.
