Spellbinders- Let’s Celebrate Collection Cards

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am excited to share three beautiful cards with you today. These cards feature the Peony Background BetterPress Plate from the Let’s Celebrate Collection by Yana Smakula. Stay tuned for the second part of the collection!

Mother's Day Card

For the first card, I used Thunder BP ink with the Peony Background Press Plate on white cardstock and colored the flowers with markers.

I initially thought coloring would be easy, but I wasn’t happy with my first attempt. So, I spent more time coloring to make it look acceptable.

For the sentiments,

I gold hot foiled with Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate on the black card stock & I used the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment from the Mother’s and Father’s Day sentiment from the Mirror Arch Collection.

I die-cut the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment with a coordinated die. (Tp: I die-cut the sentiments three times and make it three layers.)

Thank you Card

I love blue and white floral patterns, so I’ve been collecting china with this design. so I decided to press with the same plate- a Peony Background Plate with Juniper Mist ink on the white card stock.

After using blue ink to stamp, I added light blue shading to the flowers and leaves using markers.

On white cardstock, I gold hot foiled Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate and cut it to fit the background.

“I added gold embellishments on the card to complement the gold foiled sentiments.”

Birthday Card

I press the Peony Background BetterPress Plate with Hoodie ink on the Lunar Card Stock for the background.

I die-cut the Peony Celebration die with Cooper card stock and whit card stock.

I used blending brushes to color the peonies and then I attached them to the copper peonies.

I also gold hot foiled the sentiments on black card stock.
