Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m excited to share a goofy and fun Halloween card featuring the Spellbinders August 2026 All Clubs Crate Bonus Die Set, titled “Make A Monster”!

This set is such a treat for All Clubs Crate subscribers, allowing you to turn any embossed card front into an adorable, silly monster!

Note: While the August All Clubs Crate is currently sold out, I wanted to share this project to offer a little inspiration for those of you who were lucky enough to grab one this month!

This bonus set is such a treat for crate subscribers, allowing you to turn any embossed card front into an adorable, silly monster!

Creating the Textured Monster Skin: I started by embossing Peridot cardstock using the Spooky Web 3D Embossing Folder (3D Embossing Club). This versatile folder features two distinct patterns, and I used the textured striped design to create the look of monster skin! To give it depth, I shaded over the panel with green ink and added subtle black ink splatters.

Die-Cutting & Hand-Drawn Eyeball Details: Using the bonus Make A Monster Die Set, I die-cut the big eyes and wide toothy grin. To make the eyes extra eerie and fun, I drew subtle bloodshot veins inside the eyeballs using a pink colored pencil! I assembled and adhered these features directly onto the embossed background to bring this silly green character to life.

Adding the Sentiment: For the sentiment, I heat-embossed “HOPE THIS RAISES YOUR SPIRITS” from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die Club (Trick or Snark Set) onto black cardstock using white embossing powder. After die-cutting the sentiment, I popped it up at the bottom of the card using foam stickers.
