Elegant Blue Gradient Birthday Card with March Press & Foil Club

Today, I’m sharing a card that looks simple and clean but is packed with thoughtful detail and precision. Featuring the March 2026 “Greetings Maker” Press & Foil Plate and the Classic Kicks” Large Die of the Month, this project is all about beautiful typography and a stunning blue gradient.

The Sentiments & Hot Foiling:

To get the perfect layout, I performed five separate hot foiling passes using Matte Gold Foil. I chose five different shades of blue cardstock to create a gradient effect:

Precision Die-Cutting: After foiling, I used the coordinating rectangle die from the “Greetings Maker” set to cut each strip. Foiling them individually ensured that each word was perfectly centered and crisp!

I mounted the blue strips onto a white card base. To add a soft, organic touch, I used the “Classic Kicks” Large Die of the Month set to die-cut delicate white flowers with yellow centers and vibrant green leaves, tucking them along the right side of the card.

I love how the Matte Gold pops against the various blue tones. Itโ€™s a great way to use your cardstock scraps to create something truly special for a “Best Friend.” I hope this inspires you to try your own gradient designs!
