Spellbinders-Cheers to You Collection

Hello, everyone

I wanted to share with you three cards I made using the Cheers to You Collection. This collection includes four BetterPress Plate sets.

Cheers to You Card

First, I used Lagoon color ink to press the Buffalo Plaid Press plate. I also used red and green ink to press the Peony Perfection Plate, which I then colored with markers.

I used the April 2024 Stitched Die of the Month to create the frame, and gold hot foiled the Cheers to You Sentiments Plate onto black cardstock.

CARD RECIPE:

  1. Peony Perfection Registration Press Plates from the Cheers to You Collection | Spellbinders
  2. Buffalo Plaid Press Plate Press Plate from the Cheers to You Collection | Spellbinders
  3. Cheers to You Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set from Cheers to You Collection | Spellbinders
  4. Stitching Die of the Month Membership – Spellbinders Paper Arts

I finished it with gold embellishment.

Thank you Card

I pressed the Sprigs registration press plate, which had many colors and required multiple steps. then I die-cut it with the Hemstitch rectangle die.

Also, I pressed the Thank You Glimmer Hot Foil plate with pink ink and die-cut it with a circle die.

I die-cut the Nestabilities Fluted Circle Die on Pink card stock.

CARD RECIPE:

  1. Sprigs Registration Press Plate & Die Set from the Cheers to You Collection | Spellbinders
  2. Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken
  3. Fluted Classics Circles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection
  4. Thank You & Happy Birthday Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set from the Stylish – Spellbinders Paper Arts

Tip: to make a clean result of the hot foil plate sentiment press it use the BetterPress Ink, I tried other water-based ink but wasn’t satisfied the result. and I tried the BetterPress wild Berry Ink, it was very clean and clear result than others.

Birthday Card

I pressed the Sprig Registration Press plate with green color and die-cut them with the coordinating dies.

I also used the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate with white hot foil on indigo card stock.

I used the Buffalo Paid Press Plate with BetterPress Wild Berry Ink for the background. As you can see, there is a missed area where the ink didn’t take. I think using water-based ink for the wild area plate would help.
