Spellbinders- DIY 2024 Desk Calendar
Hello crafty friends, and happy new year!
My first project of the year is a DIY desk calendar featuring the large die club of January 2024 from Spellbinders.
You’ve probably seen a random ad about a flower vase printed calendar. I was inspired by the ad and tried to make my own version.
I’ve just subscribed to DOML for the first time, and I’m thrilled to start using big dies for more than just making cards. This month, I’m particularly excited about the Honey Bee Jar die set – it’s absolutely beautiful. Additionally, if you join the Deluxe Caboodle Value Club, you’ll receive a free bonus. Since I need to print the calendar on cardstock, I created a print former that fits the Honey Jar’s die-cut.

“I added one or two flowers to my monthly jars, as you can see. I used my favorite Sealed Blossom Series dies from Spellbinders. Although I initially purchased most sets of Sealed flower dies for the Wax Seal card, these long flower stems are perfect for this project.”
You can print the calendar on cardstock from the supplies list. I used thin cardstock so 13 honey jars could fit in the wooden stand.
I received a photography calendar from a professional photographer friend a few years ago, and I reused the wooden stand for my calendar. If you’re interested in getting the same wooden stand, I found a similar size one, and I’ve listed it in my supplies below.
I was looking for numbers stamps on the front page of the calendar from my stash.
I found the Hot Glimmer Plate that included the year numbers, called The Yana’s Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Plate.
I use the BetterPress system to print the 2024 on the Honey Jar.
If you have any number stamps or a die set, you can use them instead of buying a new one!
