Slide and Lock Gatefold Christmas Cards

Hello fellow crafters,
After I shared the PFS Slide and Lock Fun Fold Card, I received several requests for a tutorial on making the slide and lock gatefold card. So I decided to create a tutorial and share it with you all. I actually made two different designs of the Slide and Lock fun fold cards, and you can find them in the tutorial.

 

Merry Mug Slide and Lock Card

I previously created a card in the same style, but the mug can be removed. Also, the card receiver can be reused as a sliding mug for Christmas Tree Ornaments.

It’s easy and fun to make this card and slide the mug.

Since I didn’t add a Christmas greeting on the card front, I put the greeting on the card instead.

To shade the mug, I used a paper pouncer.

Poinsettia Slide and Lock Gatefold Card

If you want to create shapes other than circles for your card slider, this card may be useful.

I didn’t forget to stamp the Christmas Greeting inside of the card.

I added some Gold Hot foiled Christmas greetings on the Poinsettia.
