Today I am sharing a simple and pretty Christmas card I made with Simon Says Stamp’s Winter Watercolor Stamp Set (CMS354). I stamped the leaves in a circle to make a wreath, and added layered holly leaves in the center. I love how fresh the green and red colors look together!
Background:
I put my white card panel in the Altenew Stampwheel, and stamped one leafy branch at a time. After each stamping, I turned the panel and stamped again. I kept turning and stamping in a circle until it made a soft wreath shape. This tool makes it so easy to stamp in a round pattern.
Focal Images:
I stamped the holly leaves and berries from October’s Winter Watercolor Stamp Set (CMS354) separately. Then I cut them out with October’s coordinating Winter Watercolor Die Set (354SSS). To give them more dimension, I die-cut each piece twice and glued the two layers together before adding them to my wreath.
Sentiment:
I stamped the sentiment from October’s Festive Overlay Stamp Set (CMS357) on Pomegranate cardstock and heat embossed it in white. Then I cut it out with October’s coordinating Festive Overlay Die (367SSS) and added it to the center of the wreath with foam stickers. To finish the card, I mounted the panel on the same Pomegranate cardstock as a backdrop.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day!
