Simon Says Stamp Stitched Mittens β October New Release
Hello, crafty friends! π§€
Here is the second card from Simon Says Stamp’s October release β and I will be honest, this simple one is a personal favorite of mine!
Background:
- I embossed Spellbinders Seaside cardstock with September’s Melbourne Embossing Folder (sf537 )from Simon Says Stamp. It was last month’s new release, and I love its pretty snowflake pattern.
Focal images:
I die-cut the mittens from October’s Stitched Mittens Wafer Dies (s1207) using Blush and Tutu cardstock, then added ink shading for soft dimension.
I attached them with foam adhesive so they pop off the background. Between the mittens, I shaped a piece of twine into a heart and glued it in place β it felt like the perfect touch for “Sending hugs.”
Sentiment:
I hot-foiled the “Sending hugs” sentiment in gold on white cardstock using the Spellbinders Must-Have Sentiments Press and Foil Plate and Die Set, die-cut it, and adhered it to the card.
A few opal gems finished everything off.
