Spellbinders October Clubs: Sparkling Bright Press & Foil Cards
Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing two cards made with October’s “Sparkling Bright” Press & Foil Plate — one with a gold-foiled gradient background, and one with a silver-foiled arch! Let’s dive into the details!
Glowing Snowman Card
Background:
Gold hot-foiled Waterfall cardstock with October’s “Sparkling Bright” Press & Foil Plate, then blended Teal Tempest ink from the edges toward the center with a blending brush for a soft gradient glow — the foiled lines resist the ink and keep shining through!
Focal Images:
Die-cut the snowman from October’s “Frosty Tweet Friends” small die set — the snowman is white glitter cardstock, bundled up with a Saffron cardstock scarf and a Carrot cardstock hat. His pipe is cut from Acorn and Truffle cardstock. The tiny bird is cut from Blush and Dahlia cardstock. Everything is popped up with foam adhesive for dimension, and I finished with gold embellishments scattered across the background.

Sparkling Arch Card
Background:
Started with an Indigo cardstock base. Silver-foiled a panel with October’s “Sparkling Bright” Press & Foil Plate and die–cut it with the Make a Wish Arch Labels Etched Dies.
Focal Images:
Die-cut the same arch shape from white cardstock with the Make a Wish Arch Labels Etched Dies to create a frame, and popped it up with foam adhesive for dimension. Inside the arch, the tooth snowman from October’s “All I Want Ugly Sweater” die set cozies up with the tiny bird from October’s “Frosty Tweet Friends” small die set.
Sentiment:
Gold hot-foiled “MAY YOUR SEASON SPARKLE” on white cardstock with October’s “Sparkling Bright” Press & Foil Plate, die-cut with the coordinating die, and attached.
I love how versatile October’s “Sparkling Bright” Press & Foil Plate is — gold foiling with an inky gradient on one card, silver foiling in an elegant arch on the other!
