Spellbinders-June 2025 DOML

Hello, crafty friends!
Today, I’m excited to share two new cards that I created using the fantastic Spellbinders Clubs from June 2025! This month’s releases are perfect for crafting beautiful scenes with a nautical and adventurous theme.
Card 1: Guiding Light - Thanks for Lighting the Way

This card showcases a delightful scene of a lighthouse, making it an ideal choice for expressing your gratitude.

Products Used:
- June 2025 Die of the Month Club (Large Die of the Month: Sailer’s Light): This set contains the dies for the lighthouse, house, mountains, clouds, and waves.
- June 2025 3D Embossing Folder Club: (Nautical Knots) This folder creates the detailed rope texture on the background.
- June 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club: This set includes the “thanks for lighting the way” sentiment and coordinating banner die.
- Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies from the Happy Hour Collection: Background Panel.
- Up In The Air View Etched Dies from the Windows with a View Collection: a cloud


Additional Supplies:
- Cardstock in Poppy, white, Seaside, Beewax, Rainforest, light gray, Anchor, Breeze, Cascade, Celestial, and indigo.
- White card base (A2 size: 4.25″ x 5.5″)
- Adhesive (liquid glue, foam adhesive for dimension)
- Black ink pad

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare the Card Front: Cut a piece of indigo cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″. This will be your card front panel.
- Emboss the Background: Using the June 2025 3D Embossing Folder Club, emboss the Indigo cardstock panel. This will create the deep, textured rope pattern.
- Die-Cut the Elements: Using your die-cutting machine and the June 2025 Die of the Month Club (Large Die of the Month), die-cut the following pieces from the indicated cardstock colors:
- Lighthouse: Poppy, white, and a small piece of celestial card stock for the top and door details.
- House: White (for the base) and Poppy card stock.
- Mountains: Rainforest and white card stock.
- Clouds: White.
- Waves: Cascade and Celestial card stock.
- Lighthouse beam: Beeswax
- Assemble the Lighthouse and House: Adhere the white lighthouse layers onto the red base. Attach the dark blue details to the top and door. Glue the red roof onto the white house base.
- Assemble the Scene Elements:
- Create the Sentiment:
- Using the June 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, stamp “thanks for lighting the way” onto a piece of white cardstock using black ink.
- Die-cut the sentiment using the coordinating banner die from the same club set.
- Final Touches: Adhere the completed card front to your white A2 card base.
Card 2: Edge of the World - Thinking of You

This card depicts charming houses by the sea, conveying a heartfelt sentiment for those who are far away.

Products Used:
- June 2025 Die of the Month Club (Large Die of the Month: Sailer’s Light): set contains the dies for the houses, mountains, clouds, and waves.
- June 2025 Embossing Folder Club (Mariner’s Weave) This folder creates the geometric pattern on the background.
- June 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club: This set includes the “thinking of you from the edge of the world” sentiment and coordinating label die.

Additional Supplies:
- Cardstock in various colors for the houses (Peridot, Saffron, Poppy, Waterfall, white), Seaside color card stock (for background), light gray (for mountains), white(for mountain tops), Cascade and Celestial (for waves).
- White card base (A2 size: 4.25″ x 5.5″)
- Adhesive (liquid glue, foam adhesive for dimension)
- Black ink pad
- Silver Embellishment

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare the Card Base: Cut a piece of Seaside color card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″. This will be your card front panel.
- Emboss the Background: Using the June 2025 Embossing Folder Club, emboss the light blue cardstock panel. This will create the subtle geometric pattern.
- Die-Cut the Elements: Using your die-cutting machine and the June 2025 Die of the Month Club (Large Die of the Month), die-cut the following pieces from the indicated cardstock colors:
- Assemble the Houses: Layer the white doors and windows onto the colored house bases.
- Assemble the Mountains: Adhere the white snowy tops onto the dark gray mountain bases.
- Assemble the Waves: Layer the light blue wave onto the dark blue wave, slightly offsetting for dimension.
- Create the Sentiment:
- Using the June 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, stamp “thinking of you from the edge of the world” onto a piece of white cardstock using black ink.
- Die-cut the sentiment using the coordinating label die from the same club set.
- Assemble the Scene on the Card Front:
- Adhere the embossed light blue panel to your white A2 card base.
- Arrange and adhere the three assembled houses onto the bottom half of the embossed panel. Vary their height slightly to create visual interest.
- Position and adhere the assembled mountains behind the houses. Some foam adhesive can be used on the mountains to create a slight lift.
- Adhere the layered waves in front of the houses, as if they are sitting on the water’s edge.
- Use foam adhesive to pop up the sentiment label in the upper right corner of the card.
- Final Touches: Add a few silver embellishments around the scene for a touch of sparkle, resembling water droplets or stars.
