I’m excited to share the new color cardstock from Spellbinders! There will be a total of 48 colors, and all are so gorgeous.
I made some card stock Swatches with the Colorwheel Statch Party Collection.
If you have a cardstock color swatch, it will save you time when choosing the right color. Although creating the swatch takes some effort, it’s definitely worth it. I was really pleased that Spellbinders created the Color Swatch Petal Die specifically for this purpose.
I used 1.5-inch book rings to hold the pieces together. I die-cut 48 pieces of white and black cardstock for the top parts, cutting one of each color.
I created color wheels for the colors red, pink, and purple. Each color wheel contains six color palettes. While some color groups have more than six colors, others have fewer. Therefore, I am adding additional palettes to the Red Group color wheel.
I love the combination of blue and green. I hope Spellbinders will introduce more shades of green, especially since the Forest card stock was one of my favorites but has unfortunately been discontinued. I’m optimistic about the possibility of new green card stock options, so I’ve left a blank space on the green color wheel in anticipation.
You can create a variety of color mixing wheels using the Color Swatch Wheel Die.
