Spellbinders- Yana’s Poppies Collection

Hello friends,

Today I’m sharing three cards featuring Yana’s Poppies Collection. I made two thank-you cards and a birthday card

There are only three products in this collection: a BP background plate, coordinating stencil, and Poppy die.

A Million Thanks Card

First, I created a background by blending deep blue ink with brushes. Then, I sprayed some gold pearl watercolor using a fan brush over it.

Also I sprayed water as well.

I die-cut the poppies from rose gold metallic cardstock, vellum paper, and white cardstock. Then, I colored the poppies with OLO markers.

I used the Fancy Sentiments Strips Press Plate & Die to gold hot foil on white card stock and then die-cut it.

I finished the card with Capri Blue color gems.

A Little Note: Big Thanks Card

I used the Poppy Background Press Plate & Stencil Bundle to create the design on this card.

First, I pressed the Poppy BP plates with the Emerald Cove mini ink on Cotton Card stock.

After that, I used blending brushes to color the flowers with the Poppy Background Stencil.

I mounted the colored Poppy background on white and indigo cardstock. Additionally, I used the All Occasion Mail Box Greeting Glimmer Hot Foil Plate to silver hot foil on indigo cardstock and then die-cut it with the Parcel & Post Mailbox dies.

It's Your Birthday Card

On this card, I used the Poppy Background BP plate from the collection. I inked the BP plate with black BP ink and pressed it, then colored the flowers with OLO markers.

I used pink sand cardstock to create a mat for the background. I also hot foiled the sentiments from the All Occasion Mail Box Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate with the Aura Foil.

Additionally, I used rose gold metallic cardstock to mount the sentiment.

I used the stamp from the Handmade Holidays Limited Edition Card-making kit 2024 on this tag.
