Spellbinders-Happy Hour Collection

Hello friends,

I have created three cards using the Happy Hour Collection from Spellbinders. I love the versatile Happy Hour themes for various occasions.

"Christmas Cheer"

I’m not a huge fan of alcoholic drinks, so I might take a sip of some, but I love to create paper-yummy cocktails.

For Christmas, I created a chocolate Peppermint martini.

First, I embossed the Pine Cones & Berries 3D embossing folder onto green cardstock and shaded it with dark green using blending brushes. Then, I used white splatter to create a snowdrop pattern on the embossed paper.

I used the Olive Martini’s Die to cut out a martini glass from Mirror Silver cardstock. Additionally, I cut out the Christmas Cocktails dies from cardstock and then colored them with markers.
The Christmas Cocktail die set is an add-on die set for the Olive Martini die and Sunset in a Glass die.

I hot foiled the Cheers Sentiments Press Plate & Die set in gold on black card stock.

Tropical Celebration

First, I embossed the Lush Leaves 3D embossing folder onto light green cardstock. Then, I shaded the edges with dark green using blending brushes and sprayed water with a water spray.

I used the Sunset in a Glass die to cut out the design on mirror silver card stock. For the inside of the glass, I used white card stock. I then blended red, orange, and yellow color inks using blending brushes to create a sunset-colored cocktail effect.

I also colored the oranges and flowers with markers and blending brushes.

I hot-foiled the Cheers Sentiments Press Plate & Die set in gold on black card stock.

Hooray for the Sip Sip Cocktail

I matted gold foil with the Layered Classy Glasses Press Plate on black card stock to create a birthday card or a card for any celebration.

Die-cut the Olive Martinis die, and color it with green and yellow blending ink in the martini glass to create a classic martini cocktail.

I colored the olives and mint leaves with markers and used the Cheers to You Sentiments Press Plate to apply matte gold foil on white card stock. I finished off by adding gold disc sequins to the card.

I used the stamp from the Handmade Holidays Limited Edition Card-making kit 2024 on this tag.
