Spellbinders- DOM & DOML Aug. 2024

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share two cards featuring Spellbinders’ August Small Die Club (DOM) and Large Die Club of the Month (DOML).

DOML + EOM Aug. 2024

First, I utilized the August Embossing Folder Club in the background and then shaded it with ink on the embossed paper.

I die-cut the flowers from the DOML dies on silver matte foil cardstock and white cardstock. I colored the flowers with the Altenew mini inks.

I die-cut the word die from the Small Die Club (Aug 2024)

Finished it up the card.

I used gold matte foil card stock for the flowers and used silver embellishments.

DOM + 3D embossing Folder Club

Before embossing the 3D folder on white cardstock, I used a brayer to apply the All That Jazz ink inside the embossed folder.

I wasn’t satisfied with how the inking turned out, so I decided to use markers to color the uninked area. It’s an additional step, but I’m pleased with the outcome. I used the Fluted Classic Rectangle Die to die-cut white card stock in order to matte the embossed paper.

I used the blending brush to color the flowers. Then, I die-cut the sentiments on silver matte card stock.
