PFS- April Releases Ocean Odyssey

Hello everyone, 

It’s time to reveal the new releases from Picket Fence Studios for April. This month’s theme is Ocean Odyssey, which is one of my favorites!

 

 

Seashell Shaker Card

I created a shaker card that features the Seashells Waiting to be Found Stamp set.

First, I embossed the Seashore A2 Vertical Cover Front Die on watercolor paper instead of cutting it with a die.

I colored the embossed seashore background with watercolor.

I used winter snow velvet for the white part of the ocean.

  4.  Footprints in the Sand Sequin Mix
  5.  Winter Snowfall Velvet

I stamped the seashells and colored them with markers. After that, I cut them out with scissors.

I stamped the Signature Quotes: The Sea Stamp on black card stock with watermark ink and applied white embossing powder to emboss the sentiments. And I used the coordinating die to cut out the sentiments.

 

 

I put some Footprints in the Sand Sequin Mix in the shaker.

Seahorses Card

I enjoy using blue tones on my cards, and this ocean theme is perfect for fellow blue lovers.

First, I created a background by ink blending with paper pouncers. Then, I applied the Sea Glass Paper glaze with the ocean wave stencil to make a wave pattern.

And I stamped the little fish on the background.

I used the white and silver foil card stock to create circle frames using the 3.0 & 2.5 Connected Circle shaker dies.

  7. Sea Glass Blue Paper Glaze

I colored the sea’s seahorses with markers and finished with a white gelly pen.

I stamped the sentiment in watermark ink on black card stock, applied the white embossing powder, and heat-set it.
