Spellbinders- Embossing Folder of the Month (June 2023)

Can you believe it’s already June? Most of the schools around here started their summer break this week.

I wanted to share two cards with you today that use the embossing folder from the Club of June 2023.

Whale, Hello There Card

I enjoy making simple cards with a pretty patterned embossing folder. I didn’t want to cover it up with words or pictures, so I used a cute whale stamp from the Clear Stamp Club of the Month (June 2023).

After embossing the white card stock with the embossing folder.

I used the Paper pouncer to color the embossed background.

I used Copic markers to colour the whale. Then I used white embossing powder on the sentiments after I stamped them using versa mark ink. Lastly, I added crystal drops as decorations.

This embossing folder makes me go to the swimming pool!

Sea You Soon Card

I used mirror silver card stock for the embossing folder on this card.

I purchased the Seahorse Garden Stamp & Die Set last month, and I think this stamp set would be a great fit for the embossing folder.

I made a window using the Essential Stylish Ovals Etched Dies. I wanted to create an underwater scene that looks like you’re looking through the window of a submarine.
