Hero Arts, Zero-Calorie Snack Attack! ๐ŸŸ

Hello everyone! Today, Iโ€™m thrilled to share a super fun pair of cards featuring the Hero Arts All That Collection. Usually, I try to stay away from chips to keep things healthy, but I was so happy to create these “zero-calorie” chips that look good enough to eat!

I created these using a fantastic bundle: the Snack Attack Die Set, Snack Attack Layering Stencils, and the Chip Chip Hooray Clear Stamp Set.

Classic Potato Chips

For this first card, I wanted a bold, classic look.

Background: I used Cosmic Sky cardstock and added depth by blending Distress Uncharted Mariner ink around the edges.

The Bag: I die-cut the bag from white cardstock and used the layering stencils with bright red ink. To make the chips printed on the bag look more realistic, I added subtle shadows with a marker.

Stamping Technique: Using my MISTI, I masked the stamp to heat emboss the top text in white and inked the bottom in blue. I even added a tiny shadow to the white letters with a blue pen for extra pop!

The Chips: Each potato chip was die-cut and hand-colored with a blending brush to get that perfect golden-yellow hue.

Spicy Nacho Chips

I personally love spicy tortilla chips, so I put a “zesty” twist on this second card.

Background: I used vibrant Peridot cardstock for a high-energy feel.

The “Open Bag” Detail: To show the bag is open, I layered a Silver Metallic die-cut slightly behind the white bag. It perfectly mimics the foil lining!

  • Ink Colors: I stenciled the bag using Altenew Sea Glass for the center, and Pinkfresh Studio Seaside & Storm for the blue top and bottom.

  • Stamping Technique: I stamped the sentiment in black and traced it with a white gel pen to make the letters stand out. I also added a light green banner over the word “Average” and heat embossed the decorative accents in white.

The Chips: These chips were colored with an orange-red palette to look like theyโ€™re covered in spicy seasoning!

I had so much fun “snacking” while crafting these. Which one is your favorite? The classic potato chips or the spicy nachos?
